We are artists and artisans specializing in bespoke curtains, window treatments, furnishings and upholstery. Trained in traditional European techniques, with backgrounds in theatre costume arts , cross-disciplinary sculpture, process art and textile/fiber work, we’re adept at classic styles and we adore the fun and funky.

At the recommendation of my interior designer, Jeanne Henzel created beautiful pillows for my living room and master bedroom two years ago, which still look new after lots of use. She also convinced me to save some custom drapes when I was moving and then helped re-create them in my new home!!! She designed intricately patterned valances and a table runner my kitchen/dining area that look elegant and timeless. She is talented, kind, patient, cost conscious and accommodating. For one installation, the installer fell ill, so she did it all herself just to finish in time for my guests. I highly recommend Jeanne.

Jeanne Henzel is a master of her craft. She knows all aspects of upholstery, window treatments as well as repairing one of a kind furniture from a bygone era with both contemporary and no longer used methods of repair. She reupholstered a headboard that I never liked with a beautiful Belgian linen and added buttons to make the headboard truly elegant and classy. I LOVE IT! It is one of a kind and i will treasure it for years to come!

Though we are artists, we are also engineers: Our background in theatre arts means that we are very, very good at creating beautiful things that are meant to be handled, loved and used over and over again. Art Upholstery

Jeanne did a fabulous job on my vintage McGuire chair and made the process very easy. She had tons of beautiful fabric to choose from and helped me make a smart choice for my lifestyle with pets and kids. Once we chose the fabric, she also redid the webbing on the chair bottom, made a new latex seat cushion, added stuffing to the back cushion, and fixed some of the raw hide wrapping that was unraveling. The finished product looks fantastic and we are thrilled.
