Joona Fabriculture is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard yet, which we are actively working to resolve.

Active Accessibility Efforts & Known Limitations

We are in the process of auditing the website’s code. We want to be entirely transparent about our work to improve them:

  • Visual Media & Alt Text: Because we are an artisan drapery and upholstery studio, our website features a high volume of visual portfolio imagery. We are currently executing a site-wide manual audit to ensure every image has descriptive alternative (Alt) text for screen readers.

  • Heading Hierarchies: We are re-structuring our page text elements sequentially so that assistive technologies and screen readers can seamlessly navigate our website's layout.

  • Accessibility Enhancements: To assist our visitors, we are systematically updating our website's native design system by optimizing font weights, increasing typography legibility, removing animations, improving form fields, and adjusting our color combinations. These permanent code adjustments ensure our content directly meets standard visual contrast requirements without relying on third-party scripts.
