Joona Fabriculture began as an exclusive source for high-quality design and fabrication, serving discerning clientele in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and around the world. We are very pleased to expand our business model to serve more people and return to our founder's roots as a fine artist and multi-modal creative.
The Joona aesthetic is warm and eclectic, melding hand-made, heirloom-quality creations with the findings of a life well-lived. We specialize in cultivating creativity in our community, and continue to imagine and create one-of-a-kind upholstery, innovative curtains, and contemporary hard treatments for clients with a preference for high quality furnishings.
Our extended services include creative classes and events, color and design consulting, as well as on-site upholstery repair. We have recently opened our Park Street flagship shop to offer high quality DIY tools, supplies, and one-of-a-kind art furnishings to Alameda and the greater Bay Area.
Jeanne Henzel is an artist working primarily with textiles, paint, and other natural materials to produce art that lives with you, inviting touch and interaction.
Her aesthetic, attention to detail and high degree of technical skill drive the custom work that we produce. Though deeply grounded in traditional techniques, she does not shy away from integrating the technical into your project. From the automation of window treatments with motors and remotely accessible apps to adding subtle lighting effects to fine art furniture, if you can dream it - Joona Fabriculture can build it.
Jeanne trained as a sculptor and further developed her technical skills in theatrical costume shops. She is continually innovating and inventing solutions to the unique furnishing issues that challenge Joona's custom clientele. Why not let her solve a design issue that perplexes you today?
